The letters NV on a sparkling wine label are not a gap. They are a philosophy. The world's most celebrated sparkling wines are non-vintage, blended across harvests, built for complexity that no single year can achieve alone.

The North Coast AVA is California's most expansive wine region in Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, Lake, and beyond; its breadth is precisely what makes it so well-suited to non-vintage winemaking. The ability to draw from multiple microclimates, multiple soil types, and multiple expressions of the same varieties gives the winemaker a palette unavailable to any single-vineyard producer. The result is a Brut White of remarkable consistency and depth.

Non-vintage sparkling wines are among the most technically demanding to produce. Reserve wines from previous harvests, called vins de réserve, are blended into each new release to maintain the winemaker's intended style: the brightness of an early harvest, the depth of a warmer year, the precision of a cooler one. Every bottle is a deliberate act of curation, not a single year's portrait, but a considered expression of who the winemaker is.
