We don't license stock art or assign a brief. We find artists whose work is already telling the stories our wines want to carry, then we invite them in. Each label is the result of deep conversation, careful pairing, and mutual respect. When a series sells out, that chapter closes forever. That's not marketing. That's how great collections work.

Lavett Ballard

Atlanta, GA · Mixed-Media Wood Collage

"My strong affinity for imagery and history has led me to focus on creating a visual lexicon of African American female self-identity."
Lavett Ballard builds altars from reclaimed wood, archival photographs, gold foil, and burns layered into works that reframe the African diaspora through the lives of Black women. The first Black woman commissioned for a TIME Magazine cover(2020, then 2023), her art is held in museum and embassy collections worldwide. On our label, it is not a graphic. It is a reckoning.

Maurice Evans

Atlanta, GA · Mixed-Media Painter & Photographer

"As an artist, you must get out of your own way. Let the images and your imagination dictate what happens next."
Maurice Evans came to painting through music, and when music was taken away, he picked up a pencil and never put it down. His mixed-media practice fuses photography, painting, and body art into large-scale canvases that are bold, layered, and cinematic. He debuted at the juried Black Arts Festival in 1994 and earned international collectors at the New York Art Expo. On a bottle, his singular premise, "create art for art's sake", becomes an open invitation.

Tamara Madden (d. 2017)

Jamaica · Painter of the African Diaspora

"My work deals with the social, spiritual, and cultural identity of people of African ancestry, the integrity and dignity of the everyday man and woman elevated to icons and heroes."
Tamara Natalie Madden paints the ordinary into the sacred figures of African ancestry, rendered with the weight of icons, rooted in her Jamaican heritage and a life that refused to be diminished. After surviving a rare kidney disease and receiving a transplant from her brother in 2001, she walked into her first exhibition that same year, honoring a promise to herself. To hold a bottle wearing her work is to hold that testimony.
